December 22, 2022: Toledo, OH 43613 The Start Spartans (Toledo, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH), 62-58 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Chelsea (Chelsea, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Chelsea got by Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI), 59-50, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Archbishop Hoban will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 37-31 non-league win over Rocky River (Rocky River, OH). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-3.
