California High School Basketball - Kennedy edges Cornerstone Christian

The Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Antioch, CA), 57-53 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Fighting Irish (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Norte Vista (Riverside, CA). The Braves go into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Norte Vista got by Entrepreneur (Highland, CA), 36-21, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Del Oro for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. Cornerstone Christian will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 47-38 non-league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
