California High School Basketball - Paramount knocked off by Desert Pines

December 22, 2022: Paramount, CA 90723

The Desert Pines Jaguars basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Paramount Pirates to 49 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beckman for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Desert Pines will play a Patriots squad coming off a 60-31 non-league win over Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-2.

Next up, the Pirates play the Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) in a San Gabriel Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Paramount will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
