The El Capitan Gauchos basketball team (Merced, CA), was nudged 55-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Kimball Jaguars (Tracy, CA)

The Jaguars now possess a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murrieta Valley for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 28. Kimball will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Upland (Upland, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-4.

The Gauchos (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Manteca (Manteca, CA). The Buffaloes come into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record.
