Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) and the host Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), saw Milpitas's basketball squad wallop Independence by a count of 50-24.

With the victory, Milpitas upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA) to play the Titans in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
