California High School Soccer - Capital Christian nudges Golden Sierra
December 22, 2022: Garden Valley, CA 95633 Capital Christian Cougars (Sacramento, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Golden Sierra Grizzlies (Garden Valley, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the El Camino Eagles (Sacramento, CA) in a Capital Athletic League challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Capital Christian will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
The Grizzlies now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union Mine for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. Golden Sierra will confront a Diamondbacks team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Argonaut (Jackson, CA). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 4-3.
