Illinois High School Basketball - Addison Trail fells Elgin
December 22, 2023: Elgin, IL 60120 Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 66-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Addison Trail upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Blazers host Maine East (Park Ridge, IL) to clash with the Blue Demons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a record of 7-5.
Next up, the Maroons clash with the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL).
