Washington High School Basketball - Battle Ground fells Emerald Ridge
December 22, 2023: Battle Ground, WA 98604 Battle Ground Tigers (Battle Ground, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA), 56-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Battle Ground upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Tigers host Renton (Renton, WA) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
Next up, the Jaguars play the Kennedy Catholic Lancers (Burien, WA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Emerald Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 74-57 league win over Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA).
