Texas High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent can't hold off Ben Bolt
December 22, 2023: Ben Bolt, TX 78342 The Ben Bolt Badgers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Varsity Opponent to 46 in the Badgers non-league victory on Friday.
The Badgers now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Maria for a 2A Region IV District 32 contest on Wednesday, January 3. Ben Bolt will battle a Cougars team coming off a 70-64 non-league win over Harvest Christian (Edinburg, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-8.
The (184-706) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY). The Kingsmen come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Nazareth was nudged by Green Tech (Albany, NY), 80-60, in a non-league bout.
