Kentucky High School Basketball - Bishop Brossart topped by Bourbon County
December 22, 2023: Alexandria, KY 41001 The Bourbon County Colonels basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Bishop Brossart Mustangs to 51 in the Colonels non-league victory on Friday.
The Colonels now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lyon County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Bourbon County will battle a Lyons team coming off a 93-64 non-league win over Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Lyons record now stands at 8-1.
The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Madison Central prevailed over Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 67-61, in a non-league contest.
