In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Boone Grove Wolves basketball team scored a tight 41-35 triumph over the New Prairie Cougars.

In their next game, the Wolves meet the Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 27. Boone Grove will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Bombers enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 71-22 non-league win over South Newton (Kentland, IN).
