In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Center Cougars basketball team scored a good 62-52 triumph over the Rio Linda Knights.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Center will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 47-46 non-league win over Gustine (Gustine, CA).
