The Daniel Lions (Central, SC) basketball felled the visiting Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 62-49 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their test against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, T.L. Hanna thwarted Brookwood (Snellville, GA), 62-59, in a non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spartanburg for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. Union County will confront a Vikings team coming off a 60-26 non-league win over Hanahan (Hanahan, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-4.
