New Jersey High School Basketball - Shabazz crushes Eagle Academy
December 22, 2023: Newark, NJ 07108 Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eagle Academy (Newark, NJ), 73-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Shabazz upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Hudson Catholic won 87-26 in their recent league bout against Snyder (Jersey City, NJ)
Next up, the play the Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ) in a Super Essex - Freedom bout, on Thursday, January 4. Eagle Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
