South Dakota High School Basketball - Faith overwhelms Hettinger/Scranton
December 22, 2023: Faith, SD 57626 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Faith Longhorns (Faith, SD) and the visiting Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils (Hettinger, ND), saw Faith's basketball squad wallop Hettinger/Scranton by a tally of 73-43.
With the victory, Faith improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD) to confront the Panthers in a B Region 8 challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Black Devils confront the Belfield Bantams (Belfield, ND) in a B District 5 challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Hettinger/Scranton will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Bantams come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 60-54 league loss to New England (New England, ND).
