The Laney Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Irmo Yellowjackets to 52 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Josey for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Laney will battle a Eagles team coming off a 90-54 league loss to Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
