Iowa High School Basketball - Kingsley-Pierson knocked off by Kuemper
December 22, 2023: Kingsley, IA 51028 The Kuemper Knights basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Kingsley-Pierson Panthers to 55 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilbert for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Kuemper will meet a Tigers team coming off a 77-60 league loss to Ballard (Huxley, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's (Remsen, IA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's ran past Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 62-40, in a league contest.
