Wisconsin High School Basketball - Northwood tops Lac Courte Oreilles
December 22, 2023: Hayward, WI 54843 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northwood Evergreens (Minong, WI) and the host Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles (Hayward, WI), saw Northwood's basketball squad knock off Lac Courte Oreilles by a tally of 64-45.
With the victory, Northwood improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Evergreens host South Shore (Port Wing, WI) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Eagles play the Mellen Granite Diggers (Mellen, WI) in a Northern Lights challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Lac Courte Oreilles will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
