The Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team (Mooresville, NC), was nudged 72-71 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC)

The Warriors now possess a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Burlington School for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 23. Weddington will battle a Spartans team coming off a 65-60 non-league win over Davidson Day (Davidson, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 13-5.
