December 22, 2023: Quincy, MA 02169 The Quincy Presidents (Quincy, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Malden Golden Tornados (Malden, MA), 49-44 in Friday's non-league test.
The Presidents (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Weymouth got by Braintree (Braintree, MA), 57-49, in a league test.
The Golden Tornados now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host East Boston for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Malden will encounter a Jets squad coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to Lynn Vo-Tech (Lynn, MA). The Jets record now stands at 0-4.
