Kentucky High School Basketball - West Creek knocked off by Mayfield
December 22, 2023: Mayfield, KY 42066 The Mayfield Cardinals basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting West Creek Coyote to 41 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union County for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Mayfield will battle a Braves team coming off a 67-64 non-league loss to Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Braves record now stands at 6-3.
The Coyote (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dickson County (Dickson, TN). The Cougars enter the 4A District 14 contest with a 4-5 record.
