Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Oxford overwhelmed by Penncrest
December 22, 2023: Oxford, PA 19363 The Penncrest Lions basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Oxford Hornets to 23 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chester Charter Scholars Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Penncrest will battle a Sabers team coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA). The Sabers record now stands at 3-4.
The Hornets (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against East (West Chester, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, East was routed by Coatesville (Coatesville, PA), 71-58, in a league contest.
