Kentucky High School Basketball - Webster County nips Wilson Central
December 22, 2023: Dixon, KY 42409 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) and the visiting Wilson Central Wildcats (Lebanon, TN), saw Webster County's basketball squad hold off Wilson Central by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Webster County improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Central Hardin won 80-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Union City (Union City, TN)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Clarkrange Buffaloes (Clarkrange, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Wilson Central will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
