Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Midd-West ripped by Athens
December 22, 2023: Middleburg, PA 17842 The Athens Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Midd-West Mustangs to 29 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a Northern Tier - Large contest on Wednesday, January 3.
The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Montgomery was routed by Muncy (Muncy, PA), 67-34, in a league contest.
