The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team (Spring Valley, CA), was overwhelmed 62-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA)

The Knights now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mission Vista for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Bishop's will confront a team coming off a 55-29 non-league loss to Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA). The record now stands at 1-8.

The Cougars (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Vista (Vista, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Vista trounced Central (El Centro, CA), 39-27, in a non-league battle.
