December 22, 2023: Calico Rock, AR 72519 The Calico Rock Pirates (Calico Rock, AR) basketball felled the visiting Omaha Eagles (Omaha, AR), 50-32 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates (4-14) will now prepare for their test against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Yellville-Summit thwarted Eureka Springs (Eureka Springs, AR), 53-23, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Omaha will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 63-60 non-league loss to Star City (Star City, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-7.
