Minnesota High School Basketball - Cloquet tops St. Francis
December 22, 2023: St. Francis, MN 55070 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) and the host St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN), saw Cloquet's basketball squad knock off St. Francis by a tally of 74-57.
With the victory, Cloquet improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Mesabi East (Aurora, MN) to play the Giants in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Giants come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Mesabi East lost 53-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN)
Next up, the Fighting Saints play the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) in a AAAA Section 7 challenge, on Friday, January 5. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
