California High School Basketball - La Serna overwhelms Don Lugo
December 22, 2023: Whittier, CA 90605 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) and the visiting Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA), saw La Serna's basketball squad wallop Don Lugo by a tally of 40-19.
With the victory, La Serna improves its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA) to play the Golden Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Sierra Pacific won 74-6 in their recent non-league challenge against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA)
Next up, the Conquistadores play the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 26. Don Lugo will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Swordsmen come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA).
