South Carolina High School Basketball - Scott's Branch succumbs to High Point Academy

December 22, 2023: Spartanburg, SC 29303

The High Point Academy Grizzlies topped the visiting Scott's Branch Eagles basketball team by a final score of 45-25 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Timberland Wolves (St. Stephen, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 23. High Point Academy will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 47-36 non-league win over Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC).

With the defeat, Scott's Branch moves to 2-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hartsville (Hartsville, SC) to face the Red Foxes in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 27. The Red Foxes enter the game with a record of 6-5. Hartsville lost 47-34 in their recent non-league game against Spring Valley (Columbia, SC)
