Iowa High School Basketball - River Valley edges Kuemper
December 22, 2023: Correctionville, IA 51016 The River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA), 49-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (7-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's (Remsen, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, St. Mary's got by Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA), 78-26, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kingsley-Pierson for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Kuemper will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 51-33 non-league win over West Sioux (Hawarden, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
