Oklahoma High School Basketball - Millwood thwarts Newcastle
December 22, 2023: Oklahoma City, OK 73111 The Millwood Falcons (Oklahoma City, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK), 50-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Classen SAS notched a victory over Central (Tulsa, OK), 71-16, in a non-league test.
The Racers now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tuttle for a Western test on Tuesday, January 2. Newcastle will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 64-39 league win over Elk City (Elk City, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 7-1.
