Vermont High School Basketball - Mount Anthony crushes Woodstock
December 22, 2023: Bennington, VT 05201 Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT), 54-22 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mount Anthony upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to West Rutland (West Rutland, VT) to play the Golden Horde in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Golden Horde come into the bout with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Wasps play the Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT) in a Marble Valley - B bout, on Thursday, December 28. Woodstock will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Minutemen come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 49-40 non-league loss to Proctor (Proctor, VT).
