Indiana High School Basketball - Thornton Fractional South ripped by Munster

December 22, 2023: Munster, IN 46321

The Munster Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves to 38 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgan Township for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Munster will battle a Cherokees team coming off a 49-25 non-league win over Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Cherokees record now stands at 11-2.

The Red Wolves (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Proviso East was routed by Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 44-35, in a non-league contest.
