Georgia High School Basketball - Oglethorpe County edges North Hall
December 22, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30506 The Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) basketball nipped the host North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA), 50-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Patriots (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Portland (Portland, TN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Portland was tipped by Cheatham County Central (Ashland City, TN), 58-30, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Hall for a AAAA Region 8 test on Wednesday, December 27. North Hall will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 52-35 non-league win over Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-8.
