December 22, 2023: Winnfield, LA 71483 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Winnfield Tigers (Winnfield, LA) and the visiting Rayville Hornets (Rayville, LA), saw Winnfield's basketball squad wallop Rayville by a tally of 42-8.
With the victory, Winnfield improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Homer (Homer, LA) to confront the Pelicans in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Pelicans come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Homer lost 53-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Summerfield (Summerfield, LA)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Rayville will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
