In Friday's non-league outing, the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), by a margin of 66-37.

The Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Parkersburg South was trounced by Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV), 83-81, in a non-league outing.
