New York High School Basketball - Averill Park holds off Mohonasen
December 22, 2024: Schenectady, NY 12303 The Averill Park Warriors basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Mohonasen Warriors to 39 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Warriors now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Queensbury for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Averill Park will confront a Spartans team coming off a 55-54 league loss to Gloversville (Gloversville, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Mohonasen falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY) to confront the Golden Knights in a non-league game on Friday, December 27.
