Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA), 62-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bishop Carroll upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Huskies host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to face the Lakers in a non-league match on Monday, December 29. The Lakers enter the match with a record of 3-2. Mercyhurst Prep won 58-43 in their recent non-league match against Warren (Warren, PA)

The Mustangs now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion Center for a Heritage game on Monday, January 5. Portage will confront a Stingers team coming off a 61-31 non-league win over DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA). The Stingers record now stands at 7-3.
