With the victory, Mauldin advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Greenwood (Greenwood, SC) to meet the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 6. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 8-3. Greenwood won 83-45 in their recent non-league battle against Huss (Gastonia, NC)
The Wildcats now own a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkeley for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 27. Lexington will encounter a Stags team coming off a 70-48 non-league win over Timberland (St. Stephen, SC). The Stags record now stands at 7-2.
