In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting York Cougars basketball team scored a tight 55-50 triumph over the Blacksburg Wildcats.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 28. York will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the match with a 4-7 record after their 69-58 non-league win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
