The Salinas Cowboys basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Clovis North Broncos to 44 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cowboys now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ignatius for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Salinas will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 58-57 non-league loss to Carondelet (Concord, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.

The Broncos (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bullard (Fresno, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record.
