California High School Basketball - Argonaut can't hold off Golden Valley
December 23, 2022: Merced, CA 95341 The Argonaut Mustangs basketball team (Jackson, CA), was nudged 61-58 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA)
The Cougars now possess a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buhach Colony for a Central California Conference battle on Wednesday, January 4. Golden Valley will battle a Thunder team coming off a 66-57 non-league loss to Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 4-10.
The Mustangs (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record.
