The Vashon Wolverines basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Buchtel Griffins to 61 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Vashon will meet a Warriors team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-1.

The Griffins (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against North (Akron, OH). The Vikings enter the Akron City contest with a 0-5 record.
