In Friday's non-league outing, the Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Victory Christian Academy Knights (Chula Vista, CA), by a margin of 36-29.

The Spartans (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Hoover was tipped by Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA), 50-33, in a non-league outing.
