December 23, 2023: Blythewood, SC 29016 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC) and the visiting South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA), saw Blythewood's basketball squad wallop South Paulding by a tally of 65-43.
With the victory, Blythewood improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Mauldin (Mauldin, SC) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Mauldin lost 89-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Bradley Central Bears (Cleveland, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. South Paulding will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 72-52 non-league loss to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA).
