Georgia High School Basketball - Towers nudges Cairo

December 23, 2023: Decatur, GA 30032

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Towers Titans (Decatur, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA), by a margin of 72-69.

The Titans (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Hapeville Charter held off Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA), 62-61, in a league outing.

The Syrupmakers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Savannah for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 27. Cairo will clash with a Bluejackets squad coming off a 63-61 non-league loss to Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Bluejackets record now stands at 7-3.
