December 23, 2023: Upper Marlboro, MD Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cardozo Clerks (Washington, DC) and the host Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD), saw Cardozo's basketball squad wallop Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South by a tally of 63-41.
With the victory, Cardozo improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Clerks travel to Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD) to confront the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Richard Montgomery won 98-88 in their recent league challenge against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD)
Next up, the confront the Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 65-46 league loss to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD).
