Ohio High School Basketball - Southern crushes Frontier

Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH), 50-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southern upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Tornadoes host Fort Frye (Beverly, OH) to clash with the Cadets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Fort Frye lost 57-53 in their recent non-league bout against Belpre (Belpre, OH)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Beallsville Blue Devils (Beallsville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Frontier will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 61-27 league loss to Madonna (Weirton, WV).
