December 23, 2023: Windsor, VT 05089 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT) and the host Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT), saw Green Mountain's basketball squad hold off Windsor by a tally of 51-47.
With the victory, Green Mountain improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, VT) to play the Wasps in a Southern Vermont - C challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Wasps come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Woodstock lost 63-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Randolph (Randolph, VT)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Windsor will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 75-74 league loss to Newport (Newport, NH).
