Ohio High School Basketball - New Bremen can't hold off Jonathan Alder
December 23, 2023: New Bremen, OH 45869 The Jonathan Alder Pioneers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host New Bremen Cardinals to 61 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pioneers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marysville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Jonathan Alder will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 40-38 league win over Dublin Jerome (Dublin, OH). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-3.
The Cardinals (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Celina (Celina, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Celina nudged Versailles (Versailles, OH), 42-41, in a non-league contest.
